Research and Practice in Culturally Responsive Pedagogy, and How to Sustain Systemic Change

This webinar is the second in a virtual workshop series, Improving Educational Equity Through Cultural Responsiveness in Schools and Educator Preparation Programs, hosted by the Mid-Atlantic Regional Education Laboratory. It will explore research on culturally responsive pedagogy and its effectiveness as well as what implementation of culturally responsive pedagogy looks like in practice. The webinar will also explore the roles of educators, schools, districts, and states in implementing culturally responsive pedagogy. Presenters include Eric Duncan of WestEd, and Amy Johnson and Steven Malick of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Education Laboratory.
