Many states are facing major challenges in retaining a qualified and high-quality early childhood workforce, despite efforts to prioritize investments in that area. What are some actionable steps that states might take to support the early childhood workforce? The Northeast & Islands Regional Education Laboratory is hosting a webinar that will review findings from Transforming the Financing of Early Care and Education., a National Academies report that includes recommendations for supporting the education, skills and credentials of the early childhood workforce. Presenters include Dr. Lynn Karoly, senior economist from the RAND Corporation, and Dr. Ola Friday from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education.
